Exhibitors who demand a seat on a panel or one of the precious few presentation slots are akin to advertisers who want to exert control over a podcast or other program's content. That may work out in the old media where the main purpose of programming is to sell product, but in the new media we do things first for the love of the content, and if a little money follows, then that's lagniappe.</description>
