The Nightmares Have Started
About this time (2-3 weeks) before every tradeshow I start to have similar nightmares. I’m sure the stress of pulling everything together toward the end wreaks havoc on my sleep.
One common nightmare is that I arrive at the convention center on move-in day only to find that our decorator and the convention center has no record of the show (or that they thought it was the weekend after). “Not to worry!” our general contractor says, “…we can put up EZ-Ups on the front lawn” After which I walk out front to see them beginning to set them all up along the sidewalk….

Tim-
I have had similar nightmares before conferences we have produced but I usually find my self naked in front of several large mean Chicagoan teamsters who still want to be paid event though there is no work for them. All kidding aside I wanted to congratulate you and your team on a great job on the expo. I had a great time – saw some old friends – made some new friends and most of all I learned so much at the sessions. I am already looking forward to next years expo! Thank you for such a well put together quality show.

I never make it to the nightmare stage. I’m always kept awake by my mind spinning worst case scenarios. Which, I wonder, is worse?
