Tim,

Congrats on the EXPO acknowledgement. Even though I'd already been blogging for awhile when you started talking to me about this Podcast Expo thing and invited me to participate way back when, I poo pooed it as a fad. Who has the time or energy to listen to trade show talk or marathoning or *gasp*... coffee? Blogs (text) had the aggregators, the infrastructure, the links to Outlook and Blackberries, the content, the momentum and it appeared, the cash.

If blogs were run by people talking about their belly buttons, then podcasts were from INSANE people talking about their belly buttons.

Today, right after 24 and The Sopranos, my next most important needed weekly fix is the podcast on portafilter.net.

And I don't even bother with my Zen. Right off the laptop.

Congrats for being ahead of the curve and championing this stuff and corraling it in a way business and aficiandos can grasp. Regardless whatever credit Mr. MTV VeeJay claims.

Now I have this really bizarre idea about a podcast from our coffeehouse... it marries coffee and fishing...
