A bit off-topic:

Now that we are into what feels like real summertime (for me July 4th always feels like the true start of summer instead of Memorial Day) I am getting more and more of the “Out of the Office” voicemails and emails. I had a few already this week that say something along the lines of, “I’ll be out of the office on vacation from July 1st through July 15th with no access to email or voicemail.”

In the connected world we live in, I envy that - but I also wonder how in the world anyone these days could dig themselves out after being unplugged for 14 days. I can barely recover from three days of email and voicemail if I am out of touch. It’s definitely healthy to take that time off, but for most entrepreneurs, it’s impossible.
