Tradeshow and Startup
My first order of business is figuring out if the words tradeshow and startup should actually be two words.
When I type tradeshow into Google, it asks me if I meant trade show. But the main industry magazine I read is entitled Tradeshow Week and they must know, right?
How about the word startup? Google doesn’t ask me if I mean, start up so that’s a good sign.

When Jeff Brown launched TradeshowBlues he did a poll asking same question. Of course he already had his logo developed by the time he asked. But I seem to recall it was about 50/50. But I’ll add that when I do Technorati and Feedster searches, I usually get more hits from “trade show” than “tradeshow”.
Anyway, looking forward to future posts. Since our industry will never have its own reality series, you’re blog is as close as we’ll get… should be fun to follow.

Rich is basically right… 50/50 or so. My feeling was that from the design point of view, “Tradeshow” just looks and feels better… and for identity purposes, I think fewer words are better… “Trade Show Start Up” could mean something different… JDB
